[ad_1]

This is for my online World Literature class. I have a prompt written by another student in my class and i must reply to it on our discussion board. there are rules in the ways you are allowed to reply. the replying options are: 1) RESPONSE: COMPARE (similar point, different/unique examples) With this response, you compare your own claims or findings with similar ones from your peers in the course. You must explain a) how your points are similar and b) provide unique, different evidence from the reading supporting your conclusion. Evidence is not speculation or mere opinion. Here are some sample response templates: * PERSON’s claim about “X” is further supported for these other reasons: R1, R2, R3. The following are evidence/ examples of the reasons from the text: E1, E2, E3 * PERSON’s claim about “X” is further supported by these other examples: E1, E2, E3. These are the reasons for E1, E2, E3 being supportive: R1, R2, R3. 2) RESPONSE: CONTRAST (counterpoint, similar/same examples) With this response, you contrast your own claims or findings using the same or similar examples given in a peer’s response. You must explain a) how your points are different and b) provide the same/similar evidence from the peer’s response. Evidence is not speculation or mere opinion. Here are some sample response templates: * PERSON’s evidence E for claim “X” is strong, but evidence E also suggests this other claim “Y.” These are the reasons for Y: R1, R2, R3. The following are evidence/examples for R1, R2, R3 from the text: E1, E2, E3. * While PERSON’s claim “X” is persuasive, there is also evidence to support “not X” with the same evidence. This is the reason / these are the reasons for “not X”: R1, R2, R3. The following are evidence/examples for R1, R2, R3 from the text: E1, E2, E3. 3) RESPONSE: DISAGREE (counterpoint, counter-examples) With this response, you disagree with a peer’s claims or findings by adding your own counter-examples or counter-claims. You must explain a) with what you disagree b) why and c) what evidence from the reading supports your conclusion. Evidence is not speculation or mere opinion. * I disagree with PERSON above when they say “X.” This is the reason / these are the reasons why: R1, R2, R3. The following are evidence/examples for R1, R2, R3 from the text: E1, E2, E3. * While I agree with PERSON when they say “X,” I disagree with what they say about “Y.” This is the reason / these are the reasons why: R1, R2, R3. The following are evidence/examples for R1, R2, R3 from the text: E1, E2, E3. Please note that “agreement” is not one of the response options. Each of these posts must be at least 250 words, but should likely have more. You may write more posts, but each post must be a minimum of 250 words. In each post, a bare minimum of 200 words must be in your language and not be quoted. In each discussion board post, however, you should analyze passages from the text to support your comment or claims. Your grade for the module discussion will be an average of the scores for each discussion board post. Each discussion board post (whether a question answer or peer response) will be evaluated using five criteria: 1) responsiveness and relevance; 2) originality and insight; 3) evidence and detail; 4) reasoning and accuracy; and 5) prose quality. Each will be assessed 0-2 points based on quality tiers (unsatisfactory, satisfactory, proficient). Each discussion post may achieve a maximum of ten (10) points. If the quantity of posts is fewer than the number assigned, or if the quantity of words is fewer than 250 per post, no credit (zero points) will be given for the discussion board thread. Your grade for the module discussion will be an average of the scores for each discussion board post. There are 2 videos you may need to watch in order to brush up on the material and be able to respond appropriately. i will attach the link to those videos in the order. REQUIREMENTS: 1) you MUST respond in one of the three ways i have given you which are listed in my directions 2) ZERO PLAGARISM 3) MAKE SURE TO read how many words are required in your response from my directions and respond appropriately 4) Read the directions and watch the videos throughly in order to offer a accurate and well done response. I am a sophomore in college, So i need this to sound nice and slightly professional. (not to professional to where it isn’t believable i wrote it myself)
