Transformational leadership denotes a strong leadership paradigm that results in productive results from the leader and the staff (followers) in an organization. Although there are many unique qualities in this leadership style, the ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence helps to solidify the success in the business communication and relationship. Specifically, when a transformational leader understands emotional intelligence, he or she incorporates their emotion with that of the staff to achieve organizational goals (Kim & Kim, 2017).
The leader in your company appears to have a good understanding of emotional intelligence. His or her ability to demonstrate the emotional intelligence competency not only leads to but also to job satisfaction which can minimize turnover in an organization (Breevaart & Bakker, 2018).
