The Board, in ordination with the accredited Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PICA) and appropriate government or private agencies shall initiate to undertake and conduct continuing professional education for criminologists that would upgrade the level of skill and competence of criminologists in the country, such as but not limited to the areas of criminological research, law enforcement, forensic science, security management, correction administration, criminal investigation, and such other areas as may be determined by the Board.Section 30. Comprehensive Criminology Review Program. – The Board, in coordination with the accredited Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PICA) shall recognize criminology review programs offered by criminology review centers. The Commission on Higher Education is hereby mandated to formulate and develop a Comprehensive Criminology Review Program to be adopted by all criminology review centers that would help the criminology board examinees increase their chances of passing the licenser examination.

ARTICLE vial Salaries and Benefits for Criminologists Section 31 .

Salary. – In order to enhance the general welfare, commitment to service and professionalism of criminologists the minimum base pay of criminologists shall not be lower than salary grade 15 prescribes under Republic Act No. 758, otherwise known as the “Compensation and Classification Act of 1989”: Provided, That for criminologists working in the Philippine National Police, adjustments to their salaries shall be in accordance with Republic Act no. 8551 otherwise known as “Philippine National Police Reform and Reorganization Act of 1998”, Provided further, That for ornithologists working in other law enforcement agencies, adjustments to their salaries shall be in accordance to applicable existing laws.Section 32. Incentives and Benefits.

– The Board of Criminologists, in coordination with the Department of Justice and other concerned government agencies, and the accredited Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PICA) shall establish an incentive and benefit system in the form of free legal services for criminologists and their dependents.
