Purpose: to get you working on something with real potential as early as possible, and not wasting your time on something which is a dead-end. 2) Develop a research proposal following the template in the handbook featuring: A refined research question, benefiting from previous feedback. Description of some key quality sources which you intend to use in your project. A draft plan of the final project showing what your main themes are likely to be, and how they fit into an overall structure. Purpose: to make sure that you are targeting literature of the right quality. And to ensure that you are going to write according to a plan, and that plan is structured according to themes and not just a glorified reading list. You are required to present your research
