Format: Work must be completed individually.
Summary of key macroeconomic data for a chosen country in graphical and written form.
Further details are provided in the assessment area in Blackboard.
Criteria: • Appropriate choice and citation of source of data
• Appropriate graphical representation of data.
• Effective written summary of graphical information.
A rubric for this task is accessible at the submission area for the task.
This task is worth 25% of the marks for the course.
Choose an OECD member country other than Australia.
Source reliable annual data on that country for up to four key economic indicators over the period
2001 to 2018, or the latest year available.
Download the data and prepare graphs of these key indicators. Do not use screenshots of graphs
from websites but prepare your own graphs using, for example, Excel.
Justify your choice of indicators and provide, along with your graphs, a written summary (250-300
words) of the performance of your chosen country’s economy in the first 18 years of this century.
Remember to correctly cite and reference any sources that you use in preparing this summary, as
well as citing the sources of your data.
Upload your response as a single Word file. You may use the draft submission area to check your
work for plagiarism but please remember to upload the final version in the correct place.
