Is stratification desirable and morally justifiable? Explain
Your introductory paragraph should clearly articulate your main argument—thesis claim—and
main points, in that order. Your thesis should be the first sentence of the essay, followed by your main points. Your thesis should appear as one sentence with complex syntax.
Draw on course readings (primarily Davis and Moore; Tumin), but do not present their ideas as your own; rather, use them to stimulate your own thinking and to support and illustrate your claims. Attend to complexity by addressing counter-arguments, contradictory evidence, and limitations to your own claims.
